Intricate Rituals is a performance, a sculpture, a collection of images, an audio album, a training regimen, a lived experience, a dedication to my adolescent self, a lesson in character acting, a small portion of a larger whole - an archived trans athletic experience.

The tracks on this album were recorded between September 2019 and February 2020 using two Sony voice recorders. The conversations are with my mom, friends, therapist, collaborators, mentors, and self about the psychological burden of the work and the process of translating my experience into something legible.
